Mali authorities offer up to 2 billion cfa for terror suspect intel

Mali’s security leadership has unveiled a financial incentive ranging from 500 million to 2 billion FCFA for credible, actionable intelligence that leads to the arrest or neutralization of seven individuals sought for suspected terrorist activities.

In an official statement signed by General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, Minister of Security and Civil Protection, authorities emphasized that this initiative reinforces the national campaign against terrorism and safeguards public safety.

The targeted individuals are believed to have played direct roles in planning, organizing, or carrying out attacks that endangered lives and property across Mali.

Who are the seven suspects?

  • Iyad Ag Ghali (alias Abou Al-Fadel) – a prominent figure in extremist networks
  • Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré (also known as Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô) – linked to multiple insurgent operations
  • Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo (alias Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi) – suspected of orchestrating attacks in central Mali
  • Alghabass Ag Intalla – a high-profile militant commander
  • Sedan Ag Hita (known by aliases Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, and Al Qayrawani) – actively sought for destabilizing activities
  • Bilal Ag Acherif – implicated in cross-border militant movements
  • Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi – believed to be operating in northern Mali

The government confirmed that these individuals remain under active pursuit by security forces due to their alleged involvement in recent terror operations.

In a call to the public, authorities urged heightened vigilance and cooperation with defense and security agencies. Citizens with information that could aid in locating or apprehending these fugitives are encouraged to share details with the appropriate authorities.

This announcement follows ongoing military operations targeting armed terrorist groups across multiple regions of Mali.
