Nigerian power project: Algerian PM inaugurates ‘solidarity’ plant in Niamey

The Prime Minister of Algeria, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, arrived in Niamey today to oversee the official launch of the new Solidarité power plant, marking a significant milestone in energy cooperation between Algeria and Niger.

This inauguration is part of a broader official visit to Niger, mandated by the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, underscoring the strategic partnership between the two nations.

Mr. Ghrieb was accompanied by key officials, including the Algerian Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mr. Mourad Adjal, and the Director General of Algeria’s Agency for International Cooperation in Solidarity and Development, Mr. Abed Halouz.
