Algeria and Chad have solidified their commitment to enhanced collaboration, formalizing an agreement in N’Djamena aimed at streamlining the execution of joint projects in public works and infrastructure. This significant step underscores the ongoing effort to fortify the partnership between the two nations and expedite the implementation of accords initially established in April.
The pivotal agreement was formally endorsed by Abdelkader Djellaoui, Algeria’s Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, and Amir Idriss Kourda, Chad’s Minister of Infrastructure, Disenclavement, and Road Maintenance. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of a crucial coordination meeting held in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, marking the second day of the Algerian delegation’s working visit to Chad.
Distinguished representatives from both countries participated in the meeting. From the Algerian side, attendees included the Director General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, the Algerian Ambassador to Chad, and senior officials from the Cosider group and the National Public Works Company (SNTP). The Chadian delegation saw the presence of the Delegate Minister for Infrastructure and several high-ranking executives.
