A fatal road accident unfolded on the outskirts of Koundoul, a town bordering N’Djamena, claiming the life of a motorcyclist in the most tragic of circumstances.
The collision occurred when a heavy-duty truck slammed into the motorcyclist, killing him instantly. The impact was so severe that both the rider and his motorcycle were thrown onto the roadway. At the time of the crash, the motorcyclist was carrying a jerrycan of fuel in his possession.
Upon hitting the ground, the fuel container ruptured, igniting a sudden blaze that engulfed the motorcycle and its rider before emergency responders could arrive. The scene was quickly secured by law enforcement, who launched an investigation to piece together the exact sequence of events.
