Morocco’s Public Prosecutor and President of the Public Ministry, Hicham Balaoui, recently hosted Ousmane Abderamane Djougourou, the Inspector General of Chad’s Independent Anti-Corruption Authority, for a working session in Rabat. This significant meeting formed part of a visit aimed at understanding Morocco’s established expertise in both preventing and combating corruption.
During the session, Balaoui meticulously outlined the core components of Morocco’s anti-corruption framework. He specifically highlighted the robust legal and institutional structures in place, alongside the penal policy implemented by the Public Ministry Presidency to tackle corruption.
