Ousmane Sonko, President of Senegal’s National Assembly, shared his profound sorrow upon learning of the passing of Serigne Abdou Bakhi Mbacké, the spiritual leader of the Khassim Mbacké family in Guinguinéo, who passed away on July 9, 2026.

In a heartfelt message of condolence, Sonko described the loss as deeply moving, recalling the warmth and hospitality of the late religious figure during their frequent encounters in Guinguinéo.
