This strategic move, fully backed by the State of Sénégal, aligns perfectly with the nation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its air sovereignty and boosting the operational capabilities of its national airline.

According to the General Directorate of Air Sénégal, this acquisition represents a crucial milestone in the modernization of its aircraft fleet and the broader expansion of the company’s activities. The new aircraft is expected to significantly enhance Air Sénégal’s operational reach and solidify its competitive position across both regional and international aviation markets.

Tidiane Ndiaye, the Director General of Air Sénégal, extended his gratitude for the State’s unwavering support. He emphasized that this latest acquisition underscores the profound confidence public authorities place in the airline and its substantial potential for future growth.

Beyond its regular commercial routes, the newly acquired aircraft is slated for a distinctive and symbolic mission.
