On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the blue hall of ONAMA provided the venue for the unveiling of « L’évolution de la vie parlementaire tchadienne de 1960 à 2020 », a 612-page scholarly work authored by former Member of Parliament Issa Hassana Adoum.
Six decades of Chad’s parliamentary journey—from independence in 1960 to the present day—are meticulously documented across five thematic chapters. The book offers a rigorous, balanced account of institutional shifts, persistent challenges, and key milestones that have shaped the country’s political landscape over the past sixty years.
Speaking during the presentation, Issa Hassana Adoum emphasized that the book represents a significant scholarly contribution to the understanding of Chad’s political and institutional heritage.
