Juventus president and CEO Damien Comolli later revealed in an interview that supporters in the Juventus section requested midfielder Manuel Locatelli and his teammates not to take the field until they received confirmation about the injured fan’s condition. Comolli emphasized the club’s solidarity with its fans during this difficult moment.

With the match rescheduled for 21:45, both teams were preparing to face each other in what could have been a decisive game for Champions League qualification.
