African union commissioner commends Morocco’s economic strides under royal leadership

The African Union’s Commissioner for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade, Industry, and Mines, Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, has praised Morocco’s remarkable progress under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

During a press briefing in Rabat following meetings with Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, Commissioner Tatchouop Belobe highlighted Morocco’s rise as a continental leader in key industries, particularly automotive and aeronautics. She underscored the Kingdom’s significant advancements in these sectors over recent years.

The Commissioner also emphasized Morocco’s commitment to fostering regional growth by sharing its expertise with African nations. She pointed to the establishment of a robust value chain for critical minerals—a strategic initiative positioning Morocco as a key player in Africa’s industrial transformation.

In a gesture of deep appreciation, Commissioner Tatchouop Belobe conveyed gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his unwavering support of the African Union’s initiatives.
