Abidjan, July 9, 2026 — The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, dedicated to investors, kicked off today in Abidjan at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire, led by Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.
« This marks a pivotal stage in our consultative process, centered on investment, entrepreneurship, and value creation, » Mambé stated. « Our goal is clear: to secure the private capital essential for turning this development vision into reality. I’m delighted to report that over 700 investors from friendly nations have joined us for this crucial dialogue. »
With business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives filling the venue, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of this gathering as a platform for aligning public and private visions for Côte d’Ivoire’s future. « Your commitment speaks volumes about the confidence you place in our economic trajectory and growth potential, » he told the audience. « You are not just investors—you are key partners in building a more competitive, job-creating economy. The success of this ambition hinges on your ability to invest boldly and consistently. »
Mambé underscored the government’s commitment to positioning the private sector as the driving force behind Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. He reassured attendees that the country’s track record—demonstrating resilience and adaptability amid global shifts—proves its place among Africa’s most dynamic economies, with an average growth rate of 6.5% over recent years.
« Today, you’re presented with a market brimming with opportunities, » he declared. « This session will accelerate investments in the PND’s priority sectors: industrialization and local processing of raw materials to add value, strategic infrastructure development—including transport, digital technology, and logistics—to bolster competitiveness, and investments in human capital, innovation, and essential services that will fuel a more productive and inclusive economy. »
Recalling the first day’s institutional partners’ session, which drew over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, Mambé highlighted the momentum behind Côte d’Ivoire’s development strategy.
In a show of solidarity, leaders from the General Confederation of Ivorian Enterprises (CGECI), MEDEF Africa, the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) reiterated their confidence in the Ivorian government’s roadmap. They pledged substantial financial commitments to support the PND 2026-2030, reinforcing their role as critical allies in the nation’s economic journey.
