On Sunday afternoon, May 24, 2026, the community of Baga-Sola in the Lake Chad province witnessed a powerful display of solidarity. Young people, organized under the Coordination of Lake Youth Associations (CADELAC), extended crucial support to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), who stand at the forefront of the ongoing campaign against Boko Haram.
Addressing local officials, CADELAC Coordinator Mahamat Adam Moustapha began by conveying heartfelt condolences to the families tragically impacted by the recent aggressions in Barka Tollorom. He then lauded the immense sacrifices made by the FDS in their unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and security. Moustapha further reiterated the youth’s steadfast dedication to fostering citizen vigilance and robust community mobilization.
In a gesture both modest and deeply meaningful, CADELAC presented five 50 kg bags of rice and ten cartons of pasta. This initiative, as articulated by the coordinator, underscores the resilient youth’s unwavering resolve to back the forces dedicated to ensuring safety and stability throughout the Lake Chad province.
