World Bank sets 21-22 september 2026 for youth opportunity open days at Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan

The World Bank Group will host Open Days on 21 and 22 September 2026 at the Patinoire of Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan. The two-day event is dedicated to opportunities in education, training, employment and entrepreneurship.

The open-door sessions aim to connect young Ivorians directly with available programmes, projects and financing options in Côte d’Ivoire.

Students seeking guidance, recent graduates looking for a first job, project holders, startup founders and young professionals will be able to engage with experts and explore the schemes that match their needs.

Discussions will focus on education and training, employment and professional integration, entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as infrastructure and local development projects.

Experts from various programmes will be on hand to provide practical information on how to access training and support mechanisms. Entrepreneurs will also share their experiences, successes and the challenges they have faced along the way.

Through these Open Days, the goal is for young visitors to leave with concrete information and leads to apply for programmes, develop their projects, seek support or expand their professional network.

The event will take place at the Patinoire of Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire. Entry is free and no prior registration is required.

These days will also give the public a better understanding of how international investments contribute to Côte d’Ivoire’s development priorities, particularly in training, skills development and youth employment integration.
