Algeria strengthens Nigeria with military aid package
Under the directives of the Algerian President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister of Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), has authorized the transfer of a substantial military aid package to the Nigerien armed forces. The announcement was made by the Algerian Ministry of National Defence in an official statement.

- Four helicopters included in the donation: two Mi-24V attack helicopters and two Mi-171 transport helicopters.
- Supporting equipment such as ammunition, spare parts, maintenance tools, and logistical supplies.
