With Lille OSC (LOSC) determined to retain his services, 18-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi could still make a move this summer—provided the price is right. Among the clubs tracking his progress, two stand out: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Arsenal FC. While negotiations remain fluid, Bouaddi has already expressed a clear inclination toward the French giants.
Fresh off his first Morocco World Cup campaign, Bouaddi is poised for a breakthrough season under LOSC’s leadership. Club president Olivier Létang has publicly reaffirmed the club’s commitment to keeping him, even extending his contract until 2029. Yet, when asked about PSG’s reported interest, Létang remained diplomatic: « We’ll discuss this with Ayyoub—honestly, it’s come up in our conversations. »
Arsenal pushes for Bouaddi’s signature, but PSG holds the edge
Arsenal FC has emerged as a serious contender, reportedly engaging Bouaddi’s camp since early 2025. The Gunners view the young talent as a key target to bolster their midfield under manager Mikel Arteta, offering him a prominent role in their plans. While Bouaddi has shown appreciation for the London club’s approach, his preference remains firmly with PSG.
Lille demands a « extraordinary » price to part with Bouaddi
LOSC’s valuation sets a high bar for any potential suitor. Létang was blunt about the club’s stance: « We’ve maintained regular dialogue with Ayyoub. Our priority is to keep him. That said, if an extraordinary offer materializes, we’d reconsider. Below €50 million? Absolutely not—that’s nowhere near the figure that would allow us to let him go. »
