Another successful season concludes for Bradley Barcola at Paris Saint-Germain. While he once again celebrated a Champions League victory with the Parisian club, the dynamic winger did not feature in the final match of Europe’s premier club competition. With just two years remaining on his current deal, Barcola’s future could potentially lie away from the French capital, as numerous top clubs are reportedly vying for the French international’s signature.

The collaboration between Paris Saint-Germain and Bradley Barcola has spanned three seasons since his €45M plus €5M in bonuses transfer from OL in the summer of 2023. The 23-year-old’s contractual situation has become a significant talking point for the PSG hierarchy. Similar to Ousmane Dembélé, the French international’s current agreement with the Parisian institution is set to conclude on June 30, 2028. We previously reported on May 10 that interest from Liverpool was making an impact within Barcola’s camp.
Three potential destinations for Bradley Barcola?
This escalating interest comes as discussions regarding his contract resolution at Paris Saint-Germain have seemingly stalled in recent months. Beyond the Reds, Arsenal executives are reportedly very keen on the forward’s profile. He perfectly aligns with the Gunners’ recruitment criteria for the upcoming summer transfer window, as they aim to bolster the left-wing position in Mikel Arteta’s squad. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, a third club, whose identity remains undisclosed, has now entered the race alongside Arsenal and Liverpool for the signature of the French national team attacker. Barcola is also preparing for his inaugural World Cup experience with the French squad, set to take place on American soil between June 11 and July 19.
“PSG intends to keep him”
Despite the growing external interest, there is a strong possibility that PSG will actively resist any potential departure. Laurent Perrin, a journalist from Le Parisien, recently addressed this topic during an online Q&A session with the publication’s readers, asserting Bradley Barcola’s continued presence at Paris Saint-Germain. “I see no reason why Barcola would leave,” Perrin stated. “We know that immense clubs like Liverpool, Barcelona, or Bayern are prepared to offer him a golden bridge, but discussions to extend his contract beyond 2028 will resume. PSG wishes to retain him; he is an extremely important player, and was the best performer in the first half of the season.”
