Chad’s president concludes UAE visit, returns to N’Djamena

The President of Chad, His Excellency Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena late last evening following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During his stay in the Gulf nation, the Chadian Head of State held two high-level meetings with the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second occurred at the Marshal’s official residence.

Upon landing at N’Djamena International Airport, President Déby was greeted by a high-powered delegation led by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina. The welcoming committee also included the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, senior government officials, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Private Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
