Chad’s President, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, landed in N’Djamena late yesterday following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During his stay in Abu Dhabi, the Chadian leader held two high-level meetings with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. The first discussion took place inside the Presidential Palace, while the second occurred at the Chadian Head of State’s residence.
Upon arrival, President Déby was greeted at the airport by a delegation including Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several cabinet members, the Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Personal Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, and the Deputy Private Secretary, alongside the Mayor of N’Djamena.
