Opposition Calls for Massive Protests Against Tshisekedi
The opposition in the Democratic Republic of Congo has called on President Félix Tshisekedi to step down amid concerns over constitutional reforms that could allow him to serve a third term.
The C64 group, a coalition of opposition parties, held a press conference in Kinshasa, where they announced plans for a massive mobilization on July 22 to demand Tshisekedi’s resignation.
