The Scottish football powerhouse, Celtic, has successfully completed the transfer of Egyptian winger Haitham Hassan from Spanish club Real Oviedo. The talented Egyptian player readily accepted the offer presented by the Scottish champions, while Real Oviedo indicated their willingness to sanction the departure of their star, with only a few bonus incentives remaining in the final stages of negotiation.
A crucial element within the new contract stipulates a substantial financial bonus for both Haitham Hassan and his former club, Real Oviedo. This considerable payout is contingent upon Celtic’s successful qualification for the UEFA Champions League group stage, a detail Tsarouchas had previously highlighted in a report dating back to July 26.
Celtic has been making sustained and determined efforts to finalize this transfer, which Tsarouchas notably described as “colossal.” The club was eager to secure the services of the player he lauded as a “World Cup sensation and Egyptian star,” especially following Hassan’s remarkable performance against Argentina.
