Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, who commands the joint force of Chad and the Central African Republic, recently extended his support to soldiers wounded in recent hostilities. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor made a compassionate visit to the Sarh Outel Bono provincial hospital, where military personnel injured during the previous Thursday’s clashes in the Korbol department were receiving initial treatment.
The primary objective of this visit was to ascertain the health status of the two soldiers who sustained injuries in an armed assault that occurred in the Korbol area. Among the wounded were Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36 years old, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and Corporal-Chief Djimet Issakah Dane, who sustained a fractured left leg from incoming fire.
While both soldiers were being cared for at the Sarh provincial hospital, their injuries necessitated more advanced medical interventions. Following discussions with the attending physicians and healthcare staff, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested their immediate medical evacuation to N’Djamena. This critical transfer was aimed at ensuring they would receive the specialized care essential for their recovery.
Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the Deputy Director of the Sarh provincial hospital, commended the swift and decisive actions taken by the defense and security forces in organizing the transfer of their comrades to N’Djamena for appropriate treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that the urgent medical transport for both soldiers was successfully carried out on the same day, underscoring the military authorities’ commitment to enhancing their chances of a full recuperation.
