In a heartfelt message to his fellow Ivorian citizens—particularly those from the Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi regions—on the occasion of Côte d’Ivoire’s 66th Independence Day, former lawmaker Meambly Tié Évariste reflected on a lifetime of service and unveiled a bold new chapter in his professional journey. With gratitude and resolve, he declared, “Public service transcends political office. It extends wherever experience, knowledge, investment, and commitment can drive progress for Côte d’Ivoire and Africa as a whole.”

Revisiting his decades of dedication, he recalled the honor of serving as a National Deputy for ten years, as the first President of the Guémon Regional Council, and as leader of the parliamentary group Agir pour le Peuple. These roles, he emphasized, were not merely titles but profound opportunities to advance the national interest.

Since 2019, motivated by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and transformation, Meambly Tié Évariste has pursued advanced academic training. His journey led him from Tunisia, where he earned a Master’s in organizational management, to Sciences Po Paris, where he specialized in public policy with a focus on Africa’s potential. Now, as he prepares for his PhD defense in management sciences scheduled for October 2026, his academic pursuits mirror his lifelong belief in education as a catalyst for change.

Beyond academia, he has shared his insights through writing. His first book, Vaincre ou l’art de transformer l’adversité en engagement, explores resilience and perseverance. His second work delves into innovative financing mechanisms for rural infrastructure. A third publication, set for release this October, will explore entrepreneurship, real estate, and economic development.

Politically, he served with loyalty within the Rassemblement des Houphouëtistes pour la Démocratie et la Paix (RHDP), dedicating over a decade to shaping policies that strengthened Côte d’Ivoire. Yet today, as he nears the completion of his doctoral studies, he embraces a new vision: one centered on entrepreneurship, job creation, strategic investment, and fostering international partnerships to uplift Africa.

With independence from partisan structures, he reaffirms his commitment to peace, national cohesion, education, innovation, and youth empowerment. His message to the people of Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi remains clear: “Your trust has shaped my journey. Let us continue to build our future on unity, hard work, solidarity, and brotherhood.”

On this historic day, he calls for a collective aspiration: a Côte d’Ivoire that is united, prosperous, and forward-looking. “May God bless each of your families,” he concludes. “Happy Independence Day to all!
