FBI delegation commends Morocco’s security preparations for FIFA World Cup 2026

Christopher Raia, Associate Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), conducted an official visit on Wednesday to the International Police Cooperation Centre (IPCC). The centre brings together law enforcement and security officials from all nations participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

During the visit, Raia highlighted the robust security framework being established across all tournament venues. A dedicated session was held with the joint delegation from Morocco’s National Security Directorate (Direction générale de la sûreté nationale) and the Directorate General for Territorial Surveillance (Direction générale de la surveillance du territoire), underscoring the country’s proactive approach to global event security.
