President of the National Assembly, Ousmane Sonko, continues to build his leadership team. A recent announcement confirmed the designation of Maïmouna Dièye, previously the Minister of Family, Social Action, and Solidarity, to the crucial role of special technical advisor within the Assembly.

Under the directive issued by the parliamentary institution’s president, Maïmouna Dièye’s portfolio will encompass social action, family affairs, the advancement of women’s rights, and the protection of children and other vulnerable populations, including individuals with disabilities.
