Diplomatic efforts between Lomé and Kinshasa have intensified as the two nations seek a unified approach to the escalating instability in the eastern regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
A high-level meeting took place in Pya, within the Kozah district, where Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, President of Togo, received Floribert Anzuluni, the Congolese Minister of Regional Integration. The discussion, centered on the urgent need for peace, highlighted the critical role of regional cooperation in addressing the security challenges plaguing eastern Congo.
