N’Djamena – World Vision Tchad officially unveiled its national strategy for 2026-2030 this Thursday, July 9, 2026. The launch, held at a press conference in N’Djamena, brought together media representatives, technical and financial partners, and national authorities. With this new roadmap, the organization aims to positively impact 3.29 million children by 2030, specifically targeting 3.09 million of the most vulnerable. Carla Dominique Denizard, World Vision’s Regional Director for West Africa, based in Dakar, characterized the strategy as « bold and innovative » during her address. Key elements of the strategy emphasize strengthening human capital, providing social protection, adapting to climate change impacts, improving education through the innovative Unlock Literacy program, and ensuring robust child protection measures.

Édouard Ngoy Wangoy, the National Director of World Vision Tchad, spoke next, describing the launch as a « historic moment » for the organization and for the future of Chadian children. He revealed that this new strategy represents a significant 20% increase in the organization’s ambitions compared to its previous strategic cycle. « Our ambition is straightforward yet audacious: to reach 3.29 million children by 2030, with a focus on 3.09 million of the most vulnerable, » he affirmed.
