Chad’s supreme court schedules succés masra appeal for may 2026
A significant judicial development has emerged concerning the case involving Succès Masra. The Judicial Chamber of the Supreme Court of Chad has officially scheduled the matter for review during its ordinary public hearing of the 2nd Criminal Section, set for Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
An official document, released in N’Djamena on May 19, 2026, and bearing the signature of the section’s president, Mr. Samir Adam Annour, details the case. Identified as dossier n°092/25, the proceedings involve Succès Masra and the individuals accused from Mandakao, who are represented by a collective of defense attorneys, notably Me Kadjilem-baye Francis. Opposing them are the public prosecutor’s office and the Chadian State, represented by the State Judicial Agency (AJE).
The upcoming hearing will focus on an appeal in cassation. This appeal challenges criminal judgment n°018/25, which was previously issued by the N’Djamena Court of Appeal on August 9, 2025. Magistrate Amadou Oumarou has been assigned to report on the dossier.
