Mali: human rights watch accuses africa corps of civilian deaths

Human Rights Watch has released its findings following an in-depth investigation into airstrikes conducted by Africa Corps in Mali. The human rights organization confirmed that the aerial bombardments, which occurred on June 15 in Kyrnia, a locality situated within the Mopti region, tragically claimed the lives of eight civilians. Crucially, the detailed inquiry by Human Rights Watch found no evidence of JNIM combatants among the victims, a finding that directly contradicts claims made by the Russian partners supporting the Malian armed forces. Ilaria Allegrozzi, a senior researcher specializing in Sahel analysis for Human Rights Watch, highlighted these critical conclusions drawn from their extensive work.
