Speaking at a meeting of the Public Finance Control Commission at the Chamber of Representatives, Lekjaa—who also serves as President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF)—highlighted that this groundbreaking strategy was set in motion following the Royal Message delivered at the first National Sports Symposium. The initiative gained further momentum with the establishment of the Mohammed VI Football Academy, which has since propelled football development across the nation to new heights.
