Senegal U17 beats Tunisia in pre-can friendly

The Senegalese U17 national team secured a narrow 1-0 victory in a friendly match against Tunisia on Thursday at the Hammam Lif Municipal Stadium. The winning goal was scored by Cheikh Omar Sy, providing a crucial boost ahead of the upcoming U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Following the triumph, the “Lionceaux” (Lion Cubs) will travel to Morocco to continue their preparations. Their campaign kicks off on May 14 at 4:00 PM against South Africa in the group stage.

The Senegalese side is placed in Group D, alongside South Africa, Algeria, and Ghana. Their fixtures are as follows:
