Aladji Bamba set for Premier League move with Newcastle United

After intense negotiations, AS Monaco and Newcastle United have finalized a groundbreaking deal for the transfer of Aladji Bamba, a 20-year-old French-Guinean midfielder. The Premier League club will pay over €40 million, including performance-related bonuses, to secure his services.

Born in Blois, France, and of Guinean descent, Bamba has received clearance to relocate to England for his medical examination and to finalize a long-term contract with the Tyneside side. His impending move marks a significant milestone in his burgeoning career, which has already seen him establish himself as a promising talent in Ligue 1.

Bamba, who has represented France at youth international level, shared his thoughts on the life-changing opportunity:

« Joining Newcastle is a dream come true. The club’s rich history, passionate fanbase, and the challenge of competing in the Premier League represent the perfect next step in my development. I’m excited but also grateful to my family and supporters back in France and Guinea for their unwavering belief in me. »
