CNESE Chair visits Chad for high-level economic dialogue

The Chairman of Algeria’s National Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CNESE), Mohamed Boukhari, has arrived in N’Djamena for an official visit at the invitation of his Chadian counterpart, Ahmat Mboudou Mahamat. The trip coincides with the opening session of Chad’s 2026 second ordinary meeting of the Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Council (CESCE).

The two-day engagement serves as a platform to strengthen economic cooperation between Algeria and Chad, with discussions focusing on sustainable development strategies and cross-border trade opportunities. Boukhari’s delegation includes senior advisors and economic analysts who will participate in panel discussions alongside Chadian officials.

Bilateral ties take center stage

During the visit, the CNESE delegation will hold bilateral meetings with Chadian government representatives to explore new avenues for economic partnership.
