Gabon prepares for un anti-corruption review in 2026

From 29 June to 1 July 2026, Gabon will host a high-level international delegation in Libreville for the second round of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) compliance assessment. The visiting team, composed of experts from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Chad, and Libya, will scrutinize the country’s progress in two critical areas: preventing corruption and recovering illicit assets.
