Tchad praises Algerian president’s leadership and bilateral cooperation

During a working visit to N’Djamena, Chad’s Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, met with Prime Minister Allamaye Halina. The meeting centered on Algeria’s pivotal role in fostering African solidarity and strengthening ties between the two nations.

The Chadian Prime Minister acknowledged the Algerian President’s strategic leadership and unwavering commitment to bolstering bilateral cooperation. Halina highlighted the profound respect Chad holds for Algeria’s contributions to continental development and its ongoing efforts to deepen integration between the two brotherly nations.

Halina conveyed heartfelt greetings from Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, underscoring the historic and fraternal bonds uniting the two countries. He also extended warm regards to Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s dedication to expanding collaboration across multiple sectors.

The Algerian delegation, present during the two-day visit, included key figures such as Abed Hallouz, Director-General of Algeria’s International Cooperation Agency for Solidarity and Development, alongside Algeria’s Ambassador to Chad. Senior officials from Chad’s Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, as well as executives from Cosider Travaux Publics and the National Public Works Company (Entp), were also part of the discussions.
